Uma mulher de 52 anos fez o parto do próprio neto, na noite de domingo (21), na sequência da demora na chegada de uma ambulância em Curitiba, no Paraná.
O pai do bebê contactou o Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) de forma a acionar uma ambulância, uma vez que a mulher estava em trabalho de parto.
O pequeno Ravi veio ao mundo cerca de duas horas após a mãe, de 22 anos, entrar em trabalho de parto. Devido à demora na chegada da ambulância, a avó Antonia Soares não hesitou em ajudar. Estendeu um cobertor sobre a calçada, colocou uma almofada debaixo da cabeça da filha e pôs mãos à obra como parteira.
“O meu genro ligou para o Samu por volta das 23h00. Pela meia-noite, nada do Samu aparecer. Nada! Eu não queria ver a minha filha sofrer”, contou Antonia ao ‘Terra’.
Ao início da madrugada de segunda-feira, pelas 00h09, Ravi nasceu nos braços da avó.
Só uma hora depois é que os meios de emergência médica chegaram ao local, segundo declarou a família da jovem mãe.
“Já não precisava mais. Se tivessem de morrer, a minha filha e o meu neto teriam morrido nos meus braços. Quando a ambulância chegou, a socorrista disse: ‘Nossa, já nasceu!?'”, revelou ainda Antonia.
O recém-nascido foi depois encaminhado para o Hospital Universitário Evangélico Mackenzie. O menino está bem de saúde e deve receber alta brevemente.
O caso ocorre em um momento em que há lotação de hospitais e demora no atendimento em unidades de saúde de Curitiba.
No entanto, a Prefeitura de Curitiba nega a demora no atendimento, referindo, em comunicado, que “a ambulância teria sido solicitada pouco depois da meia-noite” e “em menos de 15 minutos”, a ambulância já se encontrava no endereço.
